On Thursday, a constable was martyred in an armed attack on a police checkpost in Peshawar, Daily Times reported.
Unknown gunmen targeted constable Gul Faraz in the Old Bara area of Peshawar.
The culprits fled the area on a motorcycle after committing the crime.
The police have launched an operation to find out the attackers.
