LAHORE: Former interior minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Friday said that the move of nominating Shehbaz Sharif as PML-N’s next candidate for the premiership in the upcoming General Election would yield “better results”.
Talking to media in Islamabad on Friday, he said PML-N is going through a critical phase as a ruling party.
He urged the PML-N leadership to make decision intellectually saying “some decisions need political consultations.” “Inclusion of non-political people in a political party damages party’s roots,” said the former interior minister.
