BADIN: The Sindh Wildlife Department on Wednesday recovered at least 1,100 venomous snakes from a car and arrested two suspects.

According to the Department’s Deputy Director, Ghulam Sarwar, the snakes were found during a checking of the car on Badin’s Bypass Road.
“During the raid, 1,100 snakes were recovered which were transported to Karachi to be sold in hospitals,” Sarwar added.
The deputy director went on saying, “Two suspects have been apprehended and a case has been filed against them under the Wildlife Act.”

The snakes recovered from the car include three Cobras, 30 pythons, 92 londi, 15 kraits, and 10 two-faced snakes.
