ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Information, Broadcasting, National History and Literary Heritage Marriyum Aurangzeb Friday said that Imran Khan had spoken the truth for the first time by saying that there was no comparison between him and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
She said that Nawaz was a symbol of national prestige, supremacy of constitution whereas he (Imran) was a non-serious person, who did not know anything except political jugglery and holding circus in the streets.
She said that Imran had gifted Pakistan a culture of abuses, uncivilised behaviour, impudence, shamelessness, lying, sit-ins and denigration of the state institutions for which the people of Pakistan and posterity would never forgive him.
The minister said that Imran had been fully exposed and the youth of the country hated him for his undesirable antics.
Criticising the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led provincial government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, she said that the “dark rule” of the PTI in the province would always be remembered by the people.
She alleged that Imran was involved in cases of corruption, foreign funding, gambling with the zakat funds and terrorism, and added that he was not ashamed of it.
She asked Imran Khan to resign and advised him to ask Jehangir Tareen and Gandapur to follow the suit.
Referring to a recent survey on the standing of political parties in Pakistan, she said that the result of the survey should be an eye-opener for Imran as the people of Pakistan had rejected his negative politics.
She asked Imran as to when he would “abandon his pursuit of spreading anarchy and dissension in the country”? She lambasted by saying that the PTI was a mafia of corrupt elements being headed by Imran.
