LAHORE: AlFalah Theatre Producer Arshad Chaudhry and his companion Dr Munawar aka ‘Chaand’ called girls to come and meet them as they wanted to work with them. When the girls arrived, they would forcibly satisfy their desires by using them. When they are done with this appalling deed, they threaten the girls and say that they would kill them or their family members if any word of this leaked out.
A stage actress, whose name has been withheld, said that Arshad Chaudhry targeted his thirst towards her for a long time, but she never gave in. But she could not save herself for long and eventually, fell victim to this inhumane man as well. “He called to his office once and raped me. Now, he is threatening to kill me and my children.”
She urged Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to take action in this regard, saying that the cries of the countless girls that were victim to this horrendous crime would be heard, if not by the authorities, then Almighty Allah will surely take their revenge.
