KARACHI: The Police and Rangers raided different parts of the city and held at least 21 people on charges of militant activity.
A spokesman for the paramilitary force said that they had detained four people while carrying out a targeted operation in Kemari as well as Lyari, adding that three of the arrested were involved in the Lyari gang war.
In addition, he said that 15 people were apprehended from North Nazimabad on charges of militant activity. They had been handed over to the local police while weapons found at the scene of the operation had been seized.
