KARACHI:Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah ordered the Population Welfare Department to auction off 64 family planning vehicles which had been planned to be used in family planning drives.
The vehicles, which had been equipped with a small operation theater and other related facilities,were provided by the federal government about six years ago.
The relevant minister informed the CM that the vehicles were not strong enough to move in rural areas while carrying the load of a small operation theater and related facilities. Therefore, the purpose could not be achieved.
