PESHAWAR: Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP) in collaboration with District Administration Nowshera would organise a three-day grand festival titled “Family Gala” at Jinnah Park, Nowshera, from December 30, 2016, to 1st January, 2017.
With participation of well-known artists from KP, the family Gala would also feature 40 cultural stalls of different local handicrafts as well as play area for kids, shopping street, cooking competitions and food court.
This family-friendly event would formally be inaugurated by Excise and Taxation Minister Mian Jamshed Uddin, who would be accompanied by the officials of TCKP and Nowshera District Administration.
The main singers who would participate in the event include Zar Sanga, Zeek Afridi, Bakhtiyar Khattak, Meena Gul, Fayaz Kheshgi and others.
For the amusement of the children, a specific area has established as ‘Kids Town’ which would include rides, face painting, tug of war, comedy town and much more. Besides, cooking competition for females would also be arranged.
