KARACHI: Fazal Zai, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) worker who was injured in a when unknown assailants opened fire at him, succumbed to his wounds on Wednesday.
In the early hours of Monday, Zai was shot at three times by an unknown number of assailants around Shahrah-e-Faisal’s Nursery area. He was shot reportedly shot three times, with one bullet going through his head.
PTI Leader Haleem Adil Sheikh, who lodged the FIR in relation to the incident, said that even though PTI was a peace loving party, their workers were being targeted in murder and terrorism cases.
