KARACHI: The gentlemen cadets from Kakul’s Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), mounted the ceremonial guard at Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah’s mazar on Sunday, as part of the celebrations to mark the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation.
According to a statement by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), PMA Commandant Major General Abdullah Dogar reviewed the parade, laid a floral wreath, presented salute and offered Fateha.
PMA Kakul had the honour of being the only military institution designated as ‘Quaid-e-Azam’s own’ with Quaid-e-Azam’s support as Colonel-in-Chief of the Academy. The guard mounting ceremony by PMA cadets is held annually to pay homage to the Father of the Nation.
