KARACHI: A mass robbery occurred in Orangi Town when 15 shops were looted. The robbers targeted shops that were being used as small warehouses. They cut the locks and made away with cash, mobile phones and other valuables.
The owners of these shops protested after the mass robbery.
When contacted by media, police claimed that there had been no prior complaints by the owners.
2016 has seen a rise in robberies in Karachi, with shops being looted in Saddar, Tibet Centre, Urdu Bazaar, Liaquatabad and MA Jinnah Road.
