HYDERABAD: The Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that his party had no differences with the Federal Government but the four-point charter of demand presented by PPP’s Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari should be met.
He stressed that if the demands were not met, his party would decide future strategies in this regard. “Federation would become stronger if Bilawal’s demands are met.” He was talking to newsmen after addressing a public meeting held at Matiari to celebrate the former District Nazim, Muhammad Ali Shah Jamote’s joining the PPP.
Replying to a question the Chief Minister brushed aside the impression of sending Sindh IG A.D. Khowaja on forced leave, explaining that he had applied for leave that was approved. “We have given the temporary charge of IG to another suitable officer,” he added.
To another question he said, there is a need to appoint large number of school teachers in Sindh, but only those will be appointed, who meet the clause of merit. He welcomed Muhammad Ali Shah Jamote to the party and assured him that doors of the CM House would be always open for the solution of any issue pertaining to his party men and the people in general.
