ISLAMABAD: A six-member team from the ATR company arrived in Islamabad on Monday to join the Safety Investigation Board (SIB) and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) investigation teams to investigate PK-661 crash.
The team comprises of manufacturing engineers and crash experts.
According to details from Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the debris from the crash site will not be moved until the team completes its inspection.
It is to be noted that on Monday PIA grounded all its ATR fleet for a thorough examination.
It is pertinent to mention that a PIA ATR plane PK-661 crashed last week near Havelian while operating a scheduled domestic flight from Chitral to Islamabad, killing all 47 passengers.
