RAWALPINDI: Police, under its on-going crackdown on criminal elements, arrested 15 offenders, including two one-wheelers, and recovered 6795 grams of charas (Hashish), 27 litres of wine, one 12-bore gun and other items from their possession.
According to a spokesmanfor Rawalpindipolice, Waris Khan police caught Numan and Sheikh Nisar for having 1460 grams charas, while Rafique and Amir Riaz were jailed for carrying 420 grams charas. Taxila police recovered 1520 grams charas and arrested SaeedAkhtar. Rawat Police arrested Abdul Hamid and Anis Khan with 3000 grams charas.
Rattamral police nabbed SagarBhatti and Shah NaeemGulzar with seven litres of wine. Waris Khan police seized 20 litres of wine and held Abdul Rasheed. Other accused were apprehended for having drugs and weapons. Meanwhile, New Town police arrested Abdul Rehman and Danish for one-wheeling on motorcycles.
