Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Imran Khan should know that the people of Pakistan have understood his tactics and he can’t bury his incompetence under destroyed walls of Governor House.
In her reaction to the destruction of Governor’s House walls, Marriyum said that those who had attacked and destroyed the walls of parliament would never understand the importance of such heritage.
The former information minister said that Imran Khan’s assault on the heritage building of the Governor House wouldn’t provide any real relief to the people of Pakistan had been crushed under inflation and taxes by the PTI government.
“Tearing down the walls of the Governor House wouldn’t reduce the price of bread, which the government has put beyond buying capacity of the impoverished people,” she said, adding: “This destructive act would neither reduce the inflated cost of electricity and gas nor it will provide ten million jobs and five million houses promised by the government to the people.”
“Demolishing the walls of the Governor Houses won’t erase the blot of Aleema Khan’s money laundering nor would it revive the value of Pakistan’s currency or decrease national debt.”
She added, “If Imran is so fond of demolishing walls, he should first eliminate the walls of his Bani Gala residence declared illegal by the Supreme Court, Marriyum concluded.
