LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) dissident member Ayesha Gulalai has announced to contest election against PTI Chief Imran Khan in upcoming general elections 2018.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, Gulalai said that she would announce its future course of action in next three to four months.
“I don’t want ticket from any party for contesting elections,” Gulalai said.
She also criticized the leadership of PTI, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) saying “they are not good for Pakistan”.
Commenting about the recent protest of religious parties over the matter of Khatm-e-Nubuwwat, Gulalai said she is not happy with the way religious parties adopted to stage the sit-in.
However, she lauded the army’s role to end the sit-in.
