KHAIRPUR: At least four security personnel lost their lives and eight sustained injuries when their vehicle turned upside down in Noorpur, Naushahro Feroze district.
According to details, a Pano Aqil bound Pak Army vehicle from Karachi carrying 18 soldiers turned turtle after its tyre burst on the National Highway near Naushahro Feroze.
After being informed by Sadhuja police, Motorway Police and villagers of surrounding areas rushed to the site and rescued the injured. The injured were transported to Naushahro Feroze Hospital. Two of the injured were taken to Karachi in a helicopter due to their critical condition.
The four who died were identified as Irfan, Faiz, Muhabbat and Imran; while the injured included: Awais, Nadeem, Majeed, Fayaz Bux, Shabir, Sanaullah, Irfan and Yaseen. Sadhuja SHO Zulfiqar said that the army was handling the case and police was assisting them.
