GWADAR: The commander of a banned outfit was among four suspected terrorists killed in a gun battle with security forces in Pasni on Friday.
According to security officials, security personnel launched a search operation in the Shadi Kour and Paidarak areas of Kech District on a tip-off about the presence of terroritsts there. The officials said that an exchange of fire with terrorists took place when the security personnel raided the area. During the shootout, four of the terrorists were killed.
“An important commander of the terrorists was among the four dead,” a security official said. The terrorists were identified as ‘commander’ Jamil Ahmed, Safar Khan and Rais Khan.
