ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan received the expenses details of successful candidates in general election.
According to details, the ECP has received expenses details of 269 National Assembly candidates, 295 Punjab Assembly candidates, 129 from Sindh Assembly candidates, 97 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, and 49 from Balochistan Assembly.
The ECP has started issuing notification of successful candidates in general election 2018 for National Assembly and provincial assemblies after receiving expenses details from candidates.
According to a details, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, who contested from NA-131 (Lahore), spent Rs997,925 on his campaign.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari submitted details of election expenditures for NA-200 (Larkana) , he spent Rs3.36million on election campaign.
PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif, who contested from NA-132 (Lahore), spent Rs1,934,447.
