Balochistan government has officially started implementing the new minimum wage for workers setting it at Rs37,000 per month.
Balochistan Department of Labor and Manpower said the wage hike will benefit a broad spectrum of employees, including small-grade workers, and laborers in commercial and industrial sectors. Even child laborers will be entitled to the same minimum wage, ensuring wider protection for vulnerable groups.
