PESHAWAR: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s political advisor Amir Muqam on Sunday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rasheed can only issue statements.
Speaking to the media, Muqam said that Panama Leaks case was still in the court and whatever decision the Supreme Court gives, would be accepted. He said that the case was in the court and it was Supreme Court’s prerogative to decide who brought significant evidence. He also said that that issuing verdicts before court’s decision was injustice.
Advising Imran Khan and Sheikh Rasheed, Amir Muqam said that instead of being the judge and lawyers by themselves, both Imran and Sheikh Rasheed should wait for court’s decision.
