HYDERABAD: Sindh Chief Minister’s Adviser on Information Maula Bux Chandio on Thursday visited the Civil Hospital here to inquire about the health of PPP workers, who were injured on their way back from Garhi Khuda Bux after attending death anniversary ceremony of the late Benazir Bhutto.
PPP’s workers Ghulam Bashir Baloch and Khan Muhammad Rind were injured and admitted to the hospital, when their vehicle was hit by an oil tanker near Sewhan. Chandio also condoled with the family of Ashraf Ali Rind, who was killed in the accident. On this occasion, the adviser said that PPP’s workers had never hesitated in sacrificing their lives for the cause of the party. “Our Chairman Bilawal Bhutto never forgets sincere workers,” he said. PPP workers Fayaz Shah, Pasha Kazi, Sagheer Qureshi, Aijaz Maulai and Dr Wajid Memon were also present on the occasion. Talking to media, Chandio said that former president Asif Ali Zardari had sailed the country out of crisis and strived for the restoration of democracy, the proof of which was that Nawaz Sharif was the prime minister through political transition of power. To a question, he said that the long march against the present government was imminent. However, its route and date would be announced by the party’s chairman.
