TOBA TEK SINGH: The death toll from consumption of toxic liquor has risen to 29 as 10 more people died in different hospitals of the city on Tuesday.
According to media reports, more than 50 people consumed toxic home-made liquor on Christmas Eve in Mubarkabad Colony. Consequently, their condition deteriorated and they were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Toba Tek Singh and Allied Hospital, Faisalabad.
Many people among the group of those who consumed the toxic liquor are still in precarious condition and undergoing treatment.
