LAHORE: Lahore High Court Justice Shams Mehmood Mirza on Tuesday directed the petitioner to submit hateful speeches by opposition parties against the ruling party, PML-N.
Petitioner AK Dogar said the opposition members were making hateful and derogatory speeches against the ruling party and its members. He said the PML-N was the ruling party and it had come into power through public mandate.
He said these speeches were against democratic norms and amounted to ridiculing the public mandate. He said that spreading hatred against the government was violation of the constitution.
He sought directions to restrain opposition members from making such speeches.
