ISLAMABAD: A special prayer, ‘Nimaz-e-Istasqa’, was offered at the Aiwan-e-Sadr to seek Allah Almighty’s blessings and to end the long dry spell.
The prayer was attended by President Mamnoon Hussain. Mamnoon directed the Ulema to lead the prayers across the country. The President on Sunday had made an appeal to the nation to seek the blessings of Allah Almighty and hold country-wide prayers for rain.
