ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has forwarded the report on probe against National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Deputy Chairman Imtiaz Tajwar to Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan.
Imtiaz Tajwar has been charged with corruption worth million of rupees when he was working as the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) chairman.
Imtiaz is accused of hiring a building for office on monthly rent of Rs 4.5 million. According to the report, he [Imtiaz] had paid rent of one-and-a-half year in advance.
Earlier, the interior minister had ordered an enquiry against the deputy chairman and sought a report.
