ISLAMABAD: The All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has strongly condemned the continued house arrest of APHC Chairman Syed Ali Gilani, describing it as a move by the puppet authorities to please their masters in New Delhi.
According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), the APHC spokesman in a statement issued denounced the authorities for not allowing Gilani to offer Friday prayers. He said that this was an undemocratic and unethical act that had become a routine. He termed this action as interference in the religious affairs of the APHC chairman and the worst kind of human rights violations.
The spokesman said that locking down of Jamia Masjid Srinagar and other religious places for months together speaks volumes of the unethical measures being taken to implement the agenda of Hindu Rashtra, for which the incumbent puppet regime was formed.
He strongly reacted to the Education Minister Naeem Akhtar’s recent assertion on issuance of domicile certificates to West Pakistan Refugees. He said, “After deceitful and anti-people blunders, the so-called education minister shamelessly offered clarifications and explanations. Doesn’t issuing domicile certificate make one eligible for other incentives and if not, then why these refugees are in Jammu and Kashmir and in what capacity?”
The spokesman referred to the education minister as a yes-man and a political dacoit and said that he had shredded off the last coat of his dignity to justify and legitimise the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets (Sarfaesi) Act. He said, “This is a well-knit conspiracy to strangulate us economically and what the Indian parliament could not dare to do, their judiciary has done.” He added that members of the puppet regime had collaborated in the passage of this act. The spokesman added that these Delhi-groomed politicians had been using deceptive measures for the last seven decades and their lust for power and greed seemed to have no end.
