LAHORE: Lahore High Court’s (LHC) three-member bench on Thursday adjourned the hearing of petitions for a treason case against London-based Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain till January 19.
The bench, headed by Justice Syed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi, heard the petitions filed by Malik Maqsood Ahmad Awan, Aftab Ahmad virk and Abdullah Malik for cancellation of MQM’s registration and proceedings against Altaf Hussain due to his anti-Pakistan and anti-armed forces speeches.
