LAHORE: Pakistan Tehree-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has submitted his statement before police regarding all four terrorism cases against him on Wednesday.
The four cases filed against him during the Islamabad sit-in included charges of terrorism.
In the statement submitted to the police, Imran maintained that the cases filed against him have political motivations. He further added that the right to protest in is provided by constitution and cannot be termed as a crime by anyone.
The statement provided by the Imran’s lawyers further stated that Imran Khan is the chairman of country’s ‘biggest political party’ and he stepped out to protest against corruption. Imran Khan added that the protests were peaceful in nature and harmed nobody.
