ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar contacted General Qamar Javed Bajwa via a telephone call on Sunday.
According to a statement issued by Ministry of Finance, the minister congratulated Bajwa on his appointment as the Chief of Army Staff (COAS).
Dar also called General Zubair Mahmood Hayat and congratulated him on being appointed as Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.
