LAHORE: While addressing notables on Monday, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Secretary General Liaqat Baloch said that India’s aggressive attitude would do nothing but destroy itself.
The JI leader said that the Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) would give a befitting reply to the Indian cruelty, whereas Pakistan and its armed forces were ready to take revenge from the neighbouring country for all the wild behaviour in the past. He urged the armed forces, political parties and economic powers to join hands against the enemy and added that only a strong and independent Pakistan could guarantee peace in the region.
Baloch also said that the JI was devoted to free the masses from the oppression and corruption, while ensuring law and order remains in the state. He said that those plunging the country into poverty were more dangerous than foreign enemies.
